It’s been awhile since our last post. A lot has transpired, like the passing of our father and a once beloved co-owner of this facility, Rick Chou Houa Her. Despite that, we are still in full service, accepting inquiries, appointments, and bookings for end of life rituals.

Hey y’all, it’s been a minute since our last post. Hope everyone had a festive and safe holiday season.

As far as renovations go…

✅ Featured below is the previous design - vintage gold cornice. We’ve replaced it with bright white wall-to-wall curtains (all sewn by our mom).
âś… A newly installed PA speaker system with is ready for use.
âś… We have a re**er for refrigerated needs.
âś… Floors have been updated to epoxy.
âś… And YES! We finally have a business logo, waiting for it to be delivered.

We are still working on a new site on the property for food handling and the list goes on and on. Will be updating soon! Stay tuned!

Time for a history lesson: My parents along with my mom’s two brothers, Dr. Nao Tou Vang, Chang Hang Vang, and their spouses, forged this business about 13 years ago one spring day. I remember my mom asking me to help her plan for their grand opening. It was all very exciting. I was so proud of them all, for becoming their own bosses and partaking in the American Dream. I think the proudest person was my tais. I can still see her eyes beaming so proudly at her children.

My parents are the hardest working people I know and they mean the world to me. This business was my parents’ “baby.” They fed it, walked it, cleaned it, and watched it grow when people were there and when everyone went home.

My husband can speak for himself, but one of the biggest reasons I bought the business is to carry on my parents’ legacy to keep their “baby” in the family. Tom and I are hopeful we can sustain this business and make it an even more peaceful place for those leaving their loved ones to spend their last days.

Hello and welcome,

We’re excited to share that our family business is under new ownership. We are still offering full service for Hmong religious and cultural practices as before. We understand this is a difficult period in your lives and for that reason, we have been busy renovating and will be sharing what we have done and what’s in store for the future. As always, thank you kindly for supporting our small business.
