Our VBS last week, “Trusting Jesus in a Wild World,” was such a blessing, watching these children learn that they can trust Jesus no matter what life brings was beautiful!

Below is a recap video of last week - so many beautiful memories! Now just be sure to check out who got the pie in the face 😂 at end of video!

And as we wrapped up on Sunday with a meal and fellowship, it was a good reminder to us all how important it is to plant God’s truth in the hearts of the next generation. Thank you to everyone who helped make this week so special.

In a wild world, Jesus is still our sure foundation!

Yesterday, the last Sunday of May, Cenchrea honored the veterans in attendance for Military Appreciation Month by acknowledging their service with a small gift.

We are so thankful for Kami McClung who, as always, did the work to honor those veterans who are or have been connected with the church with a display of photographs in the foyer for the past several weeks … a simple but powerful reminder of the men and women who answered the call to serve our nation.

To every veteran represented not only in this display … but to all who have served… thank you. Your service has left a legacy that continues to inspire future generations.

May we never forget the sacrifices made to protect the freedoms we enjoy today.
