Apostle Godbolt has a spirit of excellence and strives to perfect whatever he puts his hands to. Apostle Godbolt is married to the love of his life, The Queen of The Nation, the lovely Lady Sha’Tavia Lezett Godbolt and is proud father of seven: Joshua, Jeremy, Justin, Joseph, Micai, Jerry, Jr. and his little princess Shy'La La'Vae he also has two grandchildren, Jayniah and Joshua, Jr. A native of Miami, Florida, he resides in the beautiful city of Cutler Bay. Born to the late Roderick L. Kelly and Mary Ann Godbolt-Cooper, he is the oldest of seven sibilings. Apostle Godbolt received the Lord Jesus as his Savior at the age of eleven and has been committed to the work of church since that time. He has served in multiple capacities of ministry ranging from hospitality to pastoring pastors. At the age of 19, he was ordained a Deacon and at the age of 21, he accepted the call on his life to preach the Gospel and was licensed as a Minister shortly after. In 1997, Apostle Godbolt was catechized to receive ordination credentials in the Florida East Coast Baptist Association. He was recommended by the Minister’s Counsel for Ordination on December 21, 1997 under the direction of the late Moderator, Dr. Arthur Jackson Jr. Shortly after, he was appointed to the Assistant Pastoral Position at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as Chief Assistant Pastor. In June 2001, Apostle Godbolt founded True Life Ministries, Where Holiness is the only True way to Live, Inc. On July 30, 2005, by the order and hand of Chief Apostle H. Smith, Ph. D., God elevated Apostle Godbolt to the office of Bishop and on September 30, 2006 he was affirmed into his current presiding position. An educator by profession, Apostle Godbolt has a Bachelor’s of Theology from the Jacksonville Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Masters of Ministry, a Doctorate of Divinity both from the Five Fold School of Theology. In May of 2010 he received the prestigious Doctorate of Theology from Smith Theological University. Apostle is also the founder of Nation of Life International Ministries Fellowship of Churches Inc., Nation of Life Ministries,Inc. Godbolt Ministries, True Life Ministries –Faith Tabernacle and NOLIM-The Faith Center, Inc. of St. Petersburg, Fl. He serves as Spiritual Father to a number of pastors and churches in the states of Florida and South Carolina within the Nation of Life International Ministries. He also has number of churches in his oversite in the states of Florida and Georgia under the Sounds of Praise. In August of 2014, he released his first book, Rhema!, The Lord has Given Us A Word! Apostle Godbolt has countless numbers of accolades and honors yet, he attests that his greatest accomplishment is his relationship with his God, Jehovah. Apostle Godbolt is eternally grateful for all the things God has done in his life and remains humbled by the many benefits bestowed on him. He accredits his success in ministry to the training he received from his sainted grandmothers, Francis Nora Bell Williams and Deaconess Clay Ella Godbolt and he also accredits his drive and determination to his beloved mother, Mary Ann Godbolt-Cooper.
