Dear Confreres,
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!
With sorrow, I inform you of the sad news of the passing of our confrere, Father Manuel José Berrío Zapata, SDV, priest of the Society of Divine Vocations, whom the Lord called to His presence on April 8, 2025, in Barbosa, Antioquia, Colombia, due to a brain tumor.
He was at his home with the permission of the Superior General, cared for by his family, and constantly visited and supported by the Regional Superior, Fr. Jonathan Stiven Tobon Monsalve, SDV, and other confreres.
The funeral of our confrere will be celebrated at the Parish Church of Saint Anthony of Padua in Barbosa, Colombia, on April 9, 2025, at 4:00 PM.
