What is the difference between transfiguration and transformation?
As nouns the difference between transfiguration and transformation is that ( is a large change in appearance or form); (a metamorphosis) while ( is (the act of transforming) or (the state of being transformed in consciousness.)
In Greek Orthodoxy, the event is called (the .)
Let's read the Scriptures on the Transfiguration:
Matthew 17:1-5
"And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
And, behold, (there appeared) unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him."
What is a Tabernacle?
A house of worship specifically : a large building or tent used for evangelistic services.
What is the biblical meaning of transfiguration?
The word “transfiguration” comes from the Latin roots trans- (“across”) and figura (“form, shape”). It thus signifies a change of form or appearance.
In this passage Jesus' appearance changes so a glimpse is given of , “His face shone like the sun and his clothes became as white as the light”.
What happened right before the Transfiguration? And why is this so important to us?
In Luke 9:27, at the end of a speech to the twelve apostles, Jesus adds, enigmatically:
There are (some standing here who will not taste death) (before they see the kingdom of God).
If your is open and you are able to see of the Spirit in your minds eye, you will not taste death, but you will be able to see the .
The phrase “kingdom of God” can also refer to other things, though, including the Church —(it is the outward expression of God's kingdom.)
A ( ) of the Spiritual Kingdom like the rainbow 🌈 in the sky.
The kingdom is embodied in Christ himself (and thus might be “seen”) if Christ were to manifest it in an unusual way to us as he has (the Rainbow).

What did Jesus mean when He said, “The kingdom of God is within you” Luke 17:21
In Luke 17:20–21, Jesus says, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you”.
The context of Jesus’ statement is a question put to Him by His Pharisee detractors who had asked when the kingdom of God would come (verse 20). But Jesus did not tell them, even if he would have, they were hard of hearing!
(The kingdom would come silently and unseen), (much as leaven works in a batch of dough) (see Matthew 13:33).
In fact, Jesus says, the kingdom had already begun, right under the Pharisees’ noses.
Various translations render the Greek of Luke 17:21 various ways.
The phrase translated “within you” in the KJV and NKJV is translated as “in your midst” in the NIV, NASB, and NET; “among you” in the NLT and HCSB; and “in the midst of you” in the ESV. Earlier versions of the NIV had “within you” with a marginal note suggesting “among you.”
There is obviously a difference between saying “the kingdom of God is within you” and “the kingdom of God is among you.”
“Within you” comes off as an unfavorable translation, seeing that Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees at the time. Jesus was surely not saying that the kingdom of God resided within the Pharisees’ hearts.
The Pharisees opposed Jesus and had no relationship with God. Jesus in other places denounced them as “whitewashed tombs” and “hypocrites” (Matthew 23:27).
There are three popular interpretations of Jesus’ words in Luke 17:21 that the kingdom of God is within you (or among you): 1) the kingdom of God is essentially inward, within man’s heart;
2) the kingdom is within your reach if you make the right choices; and
3) the kingdom of God is in your midst in the person and presence of Jesus.
The best of these interpretations, it seems, is the third: (Jesus was inaugurating the kingdom) (as He changed the hearts of men, one at a time.)
For the time being, Christ’s kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36).
One day, however, (the kingdom of God will be manifest on the earth) (Isaiah 35:1), and Jesus Christ will rule a physical kingdom from David’s throne (Isaiah 9:7) with Jerusalem as His capital (Zechariah 8:3).
What do Moses and Elijah represent during the Transfiguration?
Moses and Elijah appear and stand beside Jesus. and .
This (symbolises) that Jesus is their successor and has fulfilled his full duty to the Eternal Father. (He is now bringing a New Covenant from God for all people).
When God's voice is heard, He is reassuring the disciples that even though Jesus must suffer they must listen to him and obey him.
So how were the apostles able to see the change of energetic form in Jesus?
Matthew 5:8
Blessed are the (pure in heart): (for they shall see God).

Matthew 6:22-23
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
So let's read what happened in the Scriptures:
The three apostles witnessed (a ), which stands without parallel in history; in our Bible captions it is known as (the Transfiguration of Christ.)
Jesus begins to shine with bright rays of light. See graphic below.
“The fashion of , and his raiment was white and glistering.” His garments, though made of earth-woven fabric, “became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them”; “and his face did shine as the sun.” Thus was Jesus transfigured before the three privileged witnesses.
The sublime and awful solemnity of the occasion had not yet reached its climax.
Even as Peter spake, “behold, (a bright cloud overshadowed them): and behold (a voice out of the cloud), which said, (This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.”) (It was , ), who spake; and (at the sound) of that voice (of supreme Majesty), the apostles fell prostrate.
Jesus came and (touched them), saying, “Arise, and be not afraid.” When they looked, they saw that again they were alone with Him.
And as they came down from the mountain, (Jesus charged them, saying), (Tell to no man), (until the Son of man be risen again from the dead).
What is the significance of the three apostles allowed to attend?
God confers upon so they can direct his work upon the earth.
His apostles had faith in all that he taught and they believed on his words.
To have faith and belief means you have a , that he lives, that he is God's son, that he is our Savior.

15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And (Simon Peter answered and said), (Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.)

and so are our Spirits!
You can see my light body in the last picture in my x-ray which should only be in black n white. Somehow the light of the x-ray manifested my light body.
It's a rare occasion to see, and some people have the gift to see the light body and there are even special cameras now that can take a picture of one's aura.
We are not humans here having a spiritual experience, we are Divine Spiritual Light Beings here experiencing life and learning to become more like Christ.
When we die we will shed the veil body and our light body will be revealed forever!
