Our next weeknight Vespers is Thursday, June 18th at 7pm. There will be fellowship with (lenten) refreshments to follow. We look forward to seeing all who are able to attend. And any volunteers to help with setup and breakdown of service are greatly appreciated.

On Monday, June 8, the Church began this year's Apostles' Fast. Each of the Wednesday posts for the month of June are meditations sent out by St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary.

Exciting news! Archbishop Daniel, the diocesan hierarch for the Midwest Diocese of the Orthodox Church, will be visiting Gathering Place Church on Saturday, June 6, at 10:00am. We invite all who can attend, Orthodox and non-Orthodox alike. This is a conversational event, not an Orthodox service.
Something of note that may be a change to those unfamiliar: when meeting a bishop it is inappropriate to go for a handshake. Rather, you may go for a blessing by cupping your hands, right over left, and saying "Your Blessing, Your Eminence" or "Master, bless." You do not have to go forward for a blessing. We hope that you will join us for this rare opportunity!
