Zion Christian Academy is proud to announce Mr. Joseph Kozar as Dean of Curriculum and ZCA’s newest English Teacher.

Mr. Kozar brings extensive education and ministry experience over his decorated 36 year career. Having taught at Grant County, Ryle, and Cooper, Joe has taught 7th-12th grade English, and served as a department chair and a reading and writing consultant with 200 professional development hours. He has been awarded multiple times for his efforts including WalMart Teacher of the Year, Grant County Educator of the Year, STAR Award and runner up for State Teacher of the Year.

Joe has also served his community as Pastor of Gardnersville Baptist Church in Grant County for 20 years. He and his Wife Diana, a choir teacher at Gray Middle School, have two sons which are now grown.
