Go and share God's Word with the World by supporting World Missions. Serve our community's spiritual needs with love, using Jesus Christ as our example. Nurture our family of members with opportunities to worship God and learn from His Word, while showing the love of Christ with our concern for each other. Give

glory to God in all that we do. What is Amazing Grace? Amazing Grace describes the love which Christ has for each of us. Amazing Grace is the love that lead Christ to die for our sins that we may go to heaven. Amazing Grace is knowing we have a place in heaven. Amazing Grace is what God has done for you. Amazing Grace is also a family of believers who gather around the Word of God every Sunday at 7804 Pleasant Valley Road. Every church has its own style of worship. We feel you'll like the service at Amazing Grace Lutheran Church. Every service is printed out completely in the service folder (bulletin) and also displayed on a large screen. Our services focus on readings from the Bible. There will be several Bible readings as well as a 10-15 minute sermon which takes a Bible reading and applies it to our daily lives. Music and singing are also an important part of our worship. Listen to the singing and before long you'll be singing, too. Loud or soft, in monotone or rich harmony, all our praises are music to God. Using contemporary language, God's Word is applied to our lives as His children. God's Word is rich in promises for those who believe it. Come and hear the promises God has made to you.

I hate admitting it, but I'm not strong enough. I cannot carry my family. I can't even carry me.

But God is strong enough.

And he is good. He uses his strength to carry us.

Take time today to thank God for the blessing of protection he's given our nation through those who have sacrificed their lives for us. Be grateful for those who have given their all!

Tomorrow is PENTECOST!

It's the day fifty days after Easter. Fifty days after Jesus rose from the dead, he kickstarted the church by sending the Holy Spirit. A BUNCH of crazy stuff happened, and on that day thousands of people were baptized! They all trusted Jesus!

And tomorrow we get to celebrate its anniversary! Come and join us! We'll get started at 10.

That's not really comforting if he's just a bully, though.

But Jesus uses his power... to save you.

There are SO many things that can stress us out. They're bigger than we are. They're more powerful. We can't really fight back in any effective way.

But Jesus is bigger than the things that stress us out.

Tomorrow in worship we'll be focusing on the truth that Jesus ascended to heaven. He's powerful. He's ruling everything for the good of his people.

40 days after Jesus rose from the dead, he ascended into heaven. That's today!

Jesus didn't leave. He's not sipping margaritas in heaven. He's currently at God's right hand. That means he's got all the power... and he uses it for the benefit of his people on earth!

We'll have a special worship service on Sunday celebrating this truth! But you can celebrate it today, too. Jesus reigns!
