Yizkor Service Names 5787 at Beit Ahavah:
Our Jewish tradition honors and remembers our loved ones in the Yom Kippur Yizkor Memorial Service (Monday, Sept 21, 5:30 p.m.), and gives us an opportunity to give tzedakah in their memory.

Please fill out this form with the names of your loved ones to be read aloud by community members at the Yizkor Memorial Service. You will receive a follow-up email with instructions on how to submit photographs of your loved ones if you wish to include them in the Yizkor video, which is a loving and meaningful tradition in our Beit Ahavah community.

** Please note that names submitted after SEPTEMBER 14 will be read at the Yizkor service, but we cannot guarantee their photos will be in the Yizkor video.**

Rest in Power Gloria Steinem. May her memory and legacy be a blessing.

Gloria Steinem did not simply make history. She inspired generations of women to follow their own paths and fight for their right to be in the room. She deeply understood that you need to start by changing culture in order to change policy—and that women will always be the engine behind that change.

As the founder of Ms. Magazine, the first feminist magazine of its kind, Gloria Steinem worked to highlight the complex lives of women, breaking social taboos by covering abortion, s*x and race discrimination, and s*xual violence. By putting these issues on the national stage, her reporting helped shape consequential victories for the women’s rights movement.

We are committed to preserving her legacy and following her example. We honor her by continuing the movement. Rest in power, Gloria 🖤
