When God created humanity He created them to commune with Him and to build community with one another.
When He created man, He also created woman.
When He called disciples, He built a community.
When He sent them out to preach He sent them by twos.
When He poured out His Spirit, He did so on 120 who had consistently communed together in prayer.
You can pray to God alone. You can worship God alone. But you cannot be part of His Kingdom alone. He has programmed within each of us — introvert and extrovert alike — a need for community and God’s solution to that need is His Church.
A godly community uplifts, encourages, corrects, prays, cries and rejoices as one.
Invest your time into the Church and be part of the community of believers. We are called to commune with Him and with one another!
