lcome and encourage parents, community leaders, school and district employees to join us and participate, become involved. First and foremost we want to make a positive impact on our school, students, teachers, community and our world. We want to help. We do not force, push, confront or demand. We just present opportunity. We allow God's light to shine through us. In a world that is slowly and deceptively trying to take away our hope, purpose and joy for living , we want to give students, teachers and our community a hope, purpose and happiness in their personal lives. We believe that anyone can have an inner peace from within themselves, in a world where there is seemingly and evidently no peace. We believe that this hope, purpose, joy and peace can be found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Creator, Lord and Savior. We believe that God has a special plan for each person's life. We want to encourage, train and empower students to make a difference for Christ in their school and community. Simply serving and loving others as Jesus did. We believe our Focus and Mission supports the Fremont RE-2 School Districts Beliefs, Mission Statement, and Goals 100%. Our mission is to prepare all students to become life-long learners who are self-supporting, responsible and participating members of a global society in a safe, non-threatening environment for all students and staff. GOALS
1. Recognize the school’s responsibility to help meet the physical, intellectual, and emotional needs of children, particularly the needs to inquire, learn, think, create, establish moral and ethical values, and to relate satisfactorily to others in social situations involving family, work, government and recreation.
2. Accept primary responsibility for giving students a mastery of the basic skills of learning, thinking, and problem solving; for teaching them to use the various media of self-expression; for instilling in them a knowledge of the social and natural sciences; and for stimulating them to work productively in the various areas of human endeavor.
3. Acknowledge the importance of the school’s supplemental role to the home and other social agencies in developing habits and attitudes which make for effective personal living and the maintenance of optimum physical and mental health. History and Information ...
From November 2011 until approximately January 2015 we had School District Employees and Club Sponsors of which are named below. In addition we had from 6 to 12 students who were leaders and actively involved in prayer at the pole and Wednesday Lunch Pizza and Bible Studies. In January 2015 the school district took a different stance with regards to our club and FCH as it had presently existed at the high school. The school did not recognize the club at all, it was disbanded. Pastor Randy and other volunteers were not allowed to come in the school and deliver pizza or be involved in any way. The later part of May 2015 a teacher filed a lawsuit in federal court against the school district concerning the school districts relationship with FCH, pastor randy and The Cowboy Church at Crossroads. As of this date, September 10, 2015, FCH no longer exists at Florence High School and hasn't since January of 2015. FCH is a private FB page which exists to encourage students and teachers alike. This FB page has followed all of the guidelines FB has established. FB executives and/or personnel have never reprimanded us for the content of our page being slanderous, discriminatory, racist or inappropriate in any way. Our logo was designed by a student and pastor randy. The husky dog head used was taken from an internet web page and used by numerous universities and schools throughout the United States. Tuesday September 15, 2015 @ approximately 7:20am, pastor randy, sandy and edie were concluding morning prayer at the flagpole prior to school as they have every day school has been in session for coming on 4 years. A uniformed officer from the Florence Police Department arrived at the school and handed pastor randy a large manila envelope containing 33 pages from the RE-2 School Districts attorney Eric V Hall. In part of the 33 page document was the school districts new policy to order pastor randy, sandy and edie to no longer come to the flagpole in the mornings to pray with students prior to school. From November 17, 2011 until September 15, 2015 we never missed a day school was in session being at the flagpole prior to the school day to pray with students who voluntarily walked over to the flagpole. It was a sad day for us, but we know our God is in control and always gets the final say, the final word in His Time. The Liberty Institute has taken our case and is pursuing the violation of our religious rights and freedoms at this time. History of the 2014/2015 School Year ...
