We are grateful for another awesome weekend camp with a few hundred of our friends! Students had the chance to hear about God’s love through speaker, Brady Baker. Our amazing volunteer leaders spent the weekend with students-listening, laughing with them, and losing lots of sleep!🤣

Please think about serving our leaders in a practical way!!

Each Friday the leaders gather at Rick and Amy's house for a mandatory weekly training in their basement, but beforehand they all gather upstairs and share a meal together. This time allows for leaders to connect, laugh, and encourage each other. There is something about sitting and sharing a meal together that fosters a family element. We need your help to serve these leaders and continue to give the leaders this time! Feeding a group this size is easier than it sounds (especially if you ask people to help you!), several pans of pasta, a few crockpots of different soups, a taco bar or a sandwich bar. You could always do pizza too! Keeping it simple is key!

Details:
- Drop off at 5pm at Rick and Amy's house 1806 Waverly Drive, Florence, KY 41042
- We have approximately 100 leaders
- We are able to heat up any casseroles or plug in any crockpots
- Don't worry about plates, utensils, or drinks!

In the fall, we took a break from providing a meal to the leaders and they miss it very much and miss that time to connect as well! We asked a few leaders about the meal aspect of Friday night leadership and this is what they said:

"Since we're always on the go Friday evenings with students, it's nice to come to leadership and not have to worry about making a meal after work."

"I love getting to share a meal with this community each week! It makes us all feel more like family!"

"Going straight from class to leadership knowing I don't have to worry about buying dinner and that there's a meal waiting for me, provides a lot of peace."

"It's so sweet to actually pause and sit and enjoy a meal with other people on the same mission. It makes me feel so encouraged."

"Talking with all my friends over a meal is awesome, something I look forward to each week."

Help feed our great volunteer leaders! Every Friday our volunteers gather in the "basement" for a mandatory training time. Summer Camp was unbelievable this past summer! We had a BLAST!

SO OUR THEME FOR THE 2024 FALL CELEBRATION IS "Come Camp with us for the evening"! Come enjoy various classic Cincinnati foods, meet and support your schools leaders and celebrate with us!

This is event is not a student event, but an event for adults, businesses and parents. It is an informational and fundraising event - we hope you can come support this work that God is doing in NKY.
