Can believers commit sins?

Yes they can. The root of all sins is unbelief. But wait, believers have unbelief? Yes. The disciples believed that Jesus was the Messiah so much that they left their home, job, and families to follow Him. But Jesus told them on multiple occasions that their unbelief hindered revelation and some miracles that would have occurred, by their own hands, had they got rid of their unbelief. Sin is the material result of allowing unbelief to linger.

You are chosen to overcome by faith. Day by day, starve unbelief and see the victory of overcoming sin.
