An updated message from Archbishop Sample (March 31, 2020)
Dear Friends in Christ,
This morning, Archbishop Sample met with his priests via Zoom webinar. The Archbishop offered his profound gratitude and pledged his support to them. He is aware of the many pressures our priests are facing during this crisis. He reminded them that the number one goal of the Church is to keep people as pastorally and spiritually nourished as possible while observing the directives of public officials and health experts. He called them once again to unity and communion. He feels their communion as a presbyterate is growing stronger during these trying days. Though separated by distance, they are more unified spiritually.
Let us remember to keep all of our priests in our prayers!

Palm Sunday Mass This Weekend
Palm Sunday is the ancient custom to commemorate the entrance of the Lord into Jerusalem by means of a solemn Procession. If that solemn procession cannot be done at least a simple entrance is made. Then there is a sacred celebration of the Word of God on the messianic entrance and on the Passion of the Lord. Blessed Palms are traditionally distributed to the faithful at this Mass. Red vestments are worn. The Ashes for the next year’s Ash Wednesday celebrations are produced by burning the Palms that are blessed at this Mass.
Sunday, April 5
Live with Archbishop Sample at the Cathedral at 11:00 a.m.
