I get to preach this Sunday, and I’ll admit—this series has already been preaching to me before I ever step into the pulpit.

We’re beginning a new series called:

ALL IN
Nothing Hidden. Nothing Held Back.

I’ve found myself asking a pretty uncomfortable question:

Have I really given Jesus everything… or have I just given Him the parts that are easiest to surrender?

Because it’s easy to talk about commitment. It’s another thing to open every room of your heart and say, “Jesus, it’s Yours.”

My prayer for this series isn’t just that we hear some good sermons. I’m praying God searches us, stretches us, reignites us, and moves us from comfortable Christianity into wholehearted surrender.

And that starts with me.

No more halfway.
Nothing hidden.
Nothing held back.
Jesus gets it all.

I’d love for you to join us Sunday at Second Creek. Let’s go ALL IN. 🔥

This Sunday, we’re kicking off a brand-new series:

ALL IN
Nothing Hidden. Nothing Held Back.

Jesus didn’t call us to halfway faith. He didn’t ask for the convenient parts of our lives.

He wants our whole heart.

No more excuses.
No more holding back.
No more giving Jesus almost everything.

Jesus gave everything for us. Are we ready to give everything to Him?

Join us Sunday at Second Creek Church of Christ.

Bible Class — 9:00 AM
Worship — 10:00 AM

Bring somebody with you.

Nothing hidden. Nothing held back. Jesus gets it all.

There was something special about our time together this past Sunday.

As we continued our Summer in the Psalms, Psalm 133 reminded us that the church isn’t just a place we attend—it’s a family God is building.

We were challenged to remember:

🤝 Unity Must Be Chosen — Healthy churches don’t happen by accident. We intentionally pursue Christ and one another.

💧 Unity Must Flow — Just as the oil and dew in Psalm 133 brought blessing and refreshment, God delights to pour out His blessing where His people walk together in love.

❤️ Unity Must Be Lived — Unity isn’t just something we talk about on Sunday. It’s something we protect with our words, our actions, our forgiveness, and our love.

One truth stayed with me all day:

The world sees Jesus more clearly when His church walks together in love.

My prayer is that we won’t just admire unity—we’ll choose it, protect it, and live it every day.

LOOK UP. HOLD ON. GOD IS STILL GOD.

“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity!” — Psalm 133:1

Lord, so many times I fail you and yet you still bless me. I will never fully understand your ways but I will forever be thankful. Amen.

Sometimes God uses the pause to preach the loudest message.

We had plans.
We had intentions.
We were ready to gather.

But the weather slowed everything down — not God.

And maybe this is the reminder our hearts needed today.

When life puts you on pause…
When plans are canceled…
When roads are closed and routines are disrupted…

#1 God is still first.
#2 God is still faithful.
#3 God is still near.

Nothing about this moment caught Him off guard.

“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33

Putting God first isn’t about perfect conditions.
It’s about surrendered hearts.

It doesn’t take a sanctuary to worship.
It doesn’t take a crowd to pray.
It doesn’t take a schedule to trust Him.

Sometimes the storm outside is God’s way of quieting the noise inside —
slowing us down long enough to remember what matters most.

So if you’re stuck today…
Don’t see it as wasted time.
See it as sacred space.

Open His Word.
Lift your heart.
Speak His name over your home.

Because when God is first —
• peace overcomes panic
• faith silences fear
• hope rises even in uncertainty

And delays turn into divine appointments.

The roads may clearing and temps dropping which may cause ice.
but God’s direction is still clear.
And His grip on you has never loosened.

First things first. Always.

And when the weather passes and the roads are clear, we would truly love to have you come worship with us at Second Creek Church of Christ.

You’ll find a loving church family, open hearts, and a place where Jesus is always first.

Until then — stay safe, stay warm, and stay anchored in Him.
