Plainview Church of Christ It's with a heavy heart I'm making this post. After several years of service and fellowship, Plainview Church of Christ will be closing it's doors forever.

Although we are saddened by this event, we're also looking to the future and what God has in store.

We would like to extend a BIG thank you to everyone who attended our final worship service today. It was a beautiful mixture of sad tears, happy tears, reminiscing, and love for one another. This chapter may be closed but the next one is beginning. God is active in our lives and so too we will continue to be active for Him. "Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." -Isaiah 43:19

We want to extend a BIG thank you to all our visitors who came out to our Wednesday Night Singing Service! We had such a good time and enjoyed every minute of it. Well, until the tornado warning sounded and cut service a little short. Thanks to each and every one of you for coming out and making a joyful noise with us!

It's with a heavy heart I am making this post. After several years of service and fellowship, Plainview Church of Christ will be closing it's doors forever. Although we are saddened by this event, we are also looking to the future and what God has in store for each and everyone of us. With this being said, we will be having a final celebration fellowship to celebrate our time as a church family and all the wonderful memories we have of being together. Current and former members and anyone who has fond memories, please come join us in our celebration March 19th at 10am for worship service and a final fellowship meal following.
*Please treat this like any other fellowship and bring a potluck dish.*

We all feel weak and inferior sometimes. Especially when we feel we've let the Lord down in some way. But remember, we are not perfect, we will make mistakes. Whether you're a new babe in Christ or the most seasoned of Christians, we will fall short, but that's where God's grace steps in. Thank you God for your perfect sacrifice.
