Great night for some football and watching a whole handful of CVBC students do their thing! When you’ve got football players, band members, and cheerleaders representing both schools, you really do just want both sides to have fun!!

Last night was so sweet!! We prayed over our departing seniors one last time, kidnapped the 5th graders from to introduce them to the student ministry a week early, and got to hear Psalm 145 taught by our own !! The Lord is gracious!

Our Panama Team will be heading home today! It has been a privilege to serve alongside our IMB team in Panama. We’ve had a wonderful time serving with teams from Camellia Baptist Church in Prattville, AL, Pleasant Grove Baptist in Oakboro, NC, and Favor City Church in Henderson, NV. As a result of this team, over 500 people heard the Gospel and nine people gave their lives to Christ. This has been a life-changing week for all! See you at church tomorrow!

Our Panama team is having a great week so far! Today, Dylan and Eduardo gave their life to Christ. Pray for these new brothers as they begin their journey!

What an incredible day at Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church! We got to celebrate two baptisms this morning. Eli had given his life to Jesus a while back but last week at camp, he decided it was time to follow in obedience and be baptized. Reese gave her life to Jesus on Thursday night and immediately shared the good news with the group and wanted to make it public today with her baptism. After service, we had 2 more students and an adult confess their need for a savior and place their trust in Jesus! So we’ll have more baptisms next week and maybe even the week after depending on schedules.
The Lord is far too kind to us, and His mercies are new every day. If you’re reading this and have never experienced the peace that comes from salvation and submitting to Jesus, our Good Shepherd, we’ve got to ask, why not? What’s holding you back? What’s stopping you? Jacob and a whole bunch of other people (kids through senior adults) would love to talk to you and share not only the good news of the gospel but how it can be good news for you personally!
