SALT SISTERS!
Bring sweaters or light jackets for those cool evenings or early mornings! Bring warm clothes too, just in case. BUT....we will have WARM days ahead:
Thursday will be 70* with 44* in evening, then 81* on FRIDAY!!!! with 54* in the evening, and 84* on Saturday with 55* in evening!....SUNSHINE on Friday-Saturday AND THEN SUNDAY... 81*!!! whoop whoop! (I need to pack a fan...) nah...there are ac's in the rooms, by the way. Or if you wanna pack a small fan, you can, for your afternoon naps. LOL.
Pack comfortable clothes. Please pack appropriate clothes. Nothing too inappropriate. May want to pack extra shoes--might play outside games with AJ! Can bring cowboy clothes n boots for fun...I know I will. Hair in piggy tails. I need someone to braid my hair.
Okay, packing list---no need to pack bedding or towels. The lodge provides those for us. The rooms are like hotel rooms. So it's very nice. Bible, journal or notebook for notes, bring snacks to share, bring own drinks if want, we do have fridge we can share ...but space might be limited. We do have coffee in the cafeteria that may be available for us with creamer. Also there is a coffee shop downstairs. Will find out the hours. A gift store is downstairs as well.
Bring something for our silent auction to help support the SALT ministry's expenses. Can be a craft, a gift, a treat, a surprise.
Bring crafts, games, puzzles or teach us (me! me! me!) how to crochet or something. There'll be a fun hayride if you'd all like to go. We might see some gorgeous mighty bald head eagles and their nests .... so fun.
There's also ziplining....woo.

Just a couple more weeks until our Retreat!!! Yahoo!
So, if you've not yet sent in your registration, please do it ASAP! So we can get you all set up and a final headcount! Can't guarantee a t-shirt. So get 'em in quick!
So giddy-up, round up your wee doggies and git along there...
pack up your bags....
We are also doing Silent Auction as well, so come help support our ministry! :)
We will have a grand time!
Leaves have been changing colors and it'll be time to break out your western boots if you got 'em, and your hats, and such.
Keep an eye on the weather, and I'll be sure to update more news and information as time gets closer!

5 MORE WEEKS TO GO!
For those asking about needing to bring bedding and towels for our retreat this October.....
Nope. They are provided for! :)
And we do have a fridge we can share. Just use care how much you bring for the fridge.
You are invited to bring a snack to share with us during our fellowship times during the weekend.
You may bring your own drinks if you wish. Bottled water will be provided by SALT.
