God has always desired his people to be on mission. If you want to know what our mission is today, and how we can accomplish it, join us tomorrow for our main gathering at 10:30am. Just to warn you, His mission for us comes with an expectation for us.

“Table for Six” is a new opportunity for the women of South, to come together around a dinner table and talk about what God has done and is doing!

Here’s how it will work:
1) I (Carol Snyder) will recruit women who are willing to host five women plus them, around their dining table, on a night/morning that I will give them. (All you need to host is a table and six chairs, and a willing heart to set it up. The host can decide if it will be a meal, charcuterie, or a dessert or coffee bar. Message Carol Snyder if your are interested.)

2) Women will sign up to attend a Table for Six.

3) The host will contact each woman who signs up, to talk over what part of the meal, dessert, or coffee bar that each woman should bring.

4) Each woman brings what they are contributing to the meal, and they come with an expectant heart of talking about the Lord.

5) Three out of the six women will share how the Lord saved them, and what He has been doing in their life since then. This brings hope!

That is it! A simple meal, dessert or coffee bar and a chance to talk over what God has done and is continuing to do!

I have found that true discipleship, mentoring, and deep connections happen in small groups, so this will be an opportunity that can foster those very important things!

It's time to *start thinking about Trunk or Treat! It was such a fun time last year, and we want this year to be bigger and better! We would love for you to decorate your car's trunk, and come out and pass out candy to our church kids and our community! Be looking for ways to get involved, but maybe start by blocking out the date and time below, and then consider how you could decorate your trunk!

This week Pastor Scott continues in Exodus 33 where we see that the greatest blessing God can give any of us is not His promises fulfilled, but rather His presence abounding. His presence that gives us the confidence to move forward, and that sets his people apart. What makes God's people different is not what we possess, but who possesses us.

Do we value the presence of God in our lives so much that we desire it like a deer that pants for water? Tomorrow, during our main gathering, we will consider the true value of the presence of God in our lives with the hopes that it will strengthen our desire for it.
