PSA: As our clients are aware, we now want to make a public statement for those interested in training and booking consultations, in regard to an issue of vandalism of the plaza we are located in.
Our building is, and has been, without power and as of today we were informed that the process of restoration is not going to be as simple as we had hoped.
The vandals destroyed the power trough of the plaza causing a power outage in which Consumers Energy then had to disconnect power to the entire building. The wiring for all units has to be inspected/redrafted by an Electrical Engineer, completed by a Licensed Electrician, after that the building inspected by the State Inspector and THEN Consumers can replace meters and restore power.
It’s an extremely unfortunate situation for our business for less than $100 in scrap wire.
Our units, along with a few others in the plaza, were completely gutted and re-wired in the last 4 years but unfortunately, the process is the process. There is no speedy way to get things done.
It’s frustrating but we are not defeated.
We are currently looking to be without our main power for 6 weeks so we are in the process of rerouting electricity with alternative power sources to be able to get back to business the best we can in the meantime.
