South Baptist Church's Women's Ministry strives to help women connect with God and one another through enlightenment, enrichment, evangelism, and encouragement. Enlightenment: Believing that the Word of God holds everything we need for life and godliness, we provide Bible studies for women throughout the year. Studies are offered on Wednesday evenings during the fall, winter, and spring. We often
have a summer study as well! By searching and growing in God's Word, we hope to connect with one another in a deeper way.
2. Enrichment: We would love for you to come and bring a friend or two to our events at South. We organize many events that appeal to women from all walks of life. Some of our regularly hosted events include Adventures in Quilting, Scrapbooking, Game Nights, Make N' Take, Mom & Me Playdates, and Weekend Retreats. Attending these events provides an opportunity to grow in your faith as well as connect with other women at South. We strive to connect with one another through these events: laughing, eating, and building relationships with each other.
3. Evangelism: It is our desire to equip women at South to confidently reach out to their co-workers, neighbors, and friends with love and compassion. We seek to provide opportunities for women to do this through outreach events at Carriage Town and evangelism classes.
4. Encouragement: We strive to connect with women through identifying and attempting to meet needs. We hope to accomplish this through a strong commitment to prayer and a meals ministry.
