"Lessons I Learned:
'1) JUST BECAUSE A PREACHER IS POPULAR DOESN'T MEAN GOD IS WITH HIM.'
This local Apostle with a struggling ministry said these exact prophetic utterances “Man of God, the Lord said there are some things that are unguarded in your life and if you don’t close the doors, you are about to go through the worst storm of your life. God sent me here to warn you that you must quickly adjust your heart or life for you will change as you know it”!!!!
When he concluded like most Christians in this new age church my ENCEPHALITIS spoke for me. I said to him in such a smug, arrogant and dangerous tone mingled with sarcasm these words. I DON’T RECEIVE THAT. MAN LOOK AT THIS CROWD; LOOK HOW GOD HAS BLESSED MY MINISTRY IN SUCH A SHORT TIME! THAT AIN’T CONFIRMATION. I realize now I didn’t receive the prophecy from him because he wasn’t a known Prophet and he was a struggling Pastor.
Can I tell you because of my arrogance I didn’t receive the word and my life changed forever. We lost the ministry, home, cars and spent the next few months living out of a car. All because I didn’t receive a prophesy because it wasn’t CONFIRMATION.
Lessons I Learned:
1) Just because a Preacher is Popular doesn’t mean God is with him.
