Issues in Marriage β 1 Corinthians 7:1β5
Marriage is a gift from God, but that doesnβt mean it is always easy. Every marriage will face challenges, disagreements, and seasons that require communication, commitment, patience, and grace.
In 1 Corinthians 7:1β5, Paul addresses an important part of marriage that is sometimes difficult to talk about: the responsibilities of husband and wife toward one another.
π Marriage requires mutual love and consideration.
π Husbands and wives have responsibilities toward each other.
π Neither spouse should treat the other with selfishness or neglect.
π Physical intimacy is part of God's design for marriage.
π Decisions within marriage should be made with communication and mutual agreement.
A healthy marriage isn't built on "What can I get?" but on "How can I love and serve my spouse?"
β€οΈ Put Christ at the center.
π Pray together.
π£οΈ Communicate honestly.
π€ Show consideration for one another.
π Keep your commitment to the covenant you made.
Marriage takes work, but when two people seek God and choose to love one another sacrificially, they can grow stronger through the challenges.
Don't let the issues in your marriage become more important than the covenant of your marriage.
