This Sunday’s Sermon will be “The Witness of John the Baptist” from John 1:19-34.

Sermon Snippet: “John understood something that every servant of Christ needs to understand:

The purpose of a witness is not to draw attention to himself. The purpose of a witness is to point people to Jesus.

It’s not about making ourselves known. It’s about making Christ known

That’s the Christian calling:
To know Christ and to make Him known.”

I am so proud of Madelyn for listening to God’s call to begin a young adults Bible study at our church! We meet on Tuesdays at 6:30pm. Childcare is provided for those with kids. Thankful for this group, we had one more, he didn’t want his picture taken so he chose to be the camera man!

Our church is collecting supplies needed by ABCCM’s Transformation Village until Sunday, October 4. If you would like to help, here is the list you can help bring:

White bath towels
White wash cloths
White hand towels
Laundry Detergent
Body wash
Body lotion
Standard pillows (no down)
Ticonderoga #2 pencils
Marble composition books
Loose leaf paper (wide ruled)

*The towels and cloths must be white

Transformation Village is a housing ministry for homeless women, women with children and veterans.
