All, hope your Thanksgiving was a wonderful time with family/friends and a good respite from your work or classes. This Tuesday, Nov 30, is Giving Tuesday at Furman (link is below). I hope you will consider giving to EVM (Go to student experiences and under the Donation Information area you can choose EVM from the dropdown menu). Furman freshmen, consider EVM as a way to explore your sense of call to ministry or service to others. EVM is based on a series of internships, reflection, and group work that allow you to explore and build skills. All majors are welcome and acceptance includes a scholarship/stipend. Looking for something exciting to do on Wednesday night? Furman Creative Collaborative, Religious Council, Jewish Students Association, Muslim Students Association, Furman Interfaith Youth Core, World Religions Symposium, and the Office of the Chaplain are proud to present Standup for Peace, a standup comedy show by prominent Jewish and Muslim comedians, Scott Blakeman and Dean Obeidallah. This event will take place at 7:00 tomorrow in Burgiss theatre. Be there or be square!
