In Jeremiah 18 the prophet describes what he witnesses as a potter is turning clay. In the process the clay was marred, or corrupted and injured, imperfect. Did the potter then discard the clay?No he did not, why? Because the clay still had value, it was the same clay he began with, yet not yet perfected. Therefore he sought to reshape it, to make it of more value. Have you ever looked at an amazing piece of glazed clay, possibly your own coffee cup, vase, or statuette, and truly thought of what it took to create such beauty? Or have you ever wondered as you walked across a field or mountain meadow that the very soil upon which you walked might hold. A treasure awaiting for someone to mold it, shape it, and make it a thing of beauty, something to be admired?
If you are like most of us, thoughts like this rarely enter our minds there are far too many other thoughts, destinations to be arrived at. Needs to be met and more, as the "tyranny of the urgent" leads our lives. However when we stop and take the time to survey our surroundings, to truly observe the creation of God, is it not marvelous, what He has created? What about when you look into the mirror, do you see a lump of discarded invaluable human matter, or do you see what He sees? What does He see, you ask, and how do you know?
I believe that God sees in everyone of His creation, the potential, the beauty, the value that can be reached at the hand of the potter, none other than He Himself. I believe He sees your hurts, your failings, your imperfections, and just as the potter at the wheel He does not purpose to discard you, but rather to re-form you. Through the sacrifice and suffering of Jesus Christ our Creator Yaweh will remove every imperfection, He will restore us, He will influence us, He will if allowed shape us into the very image of Himself. Not God's but rather children of God, worthy of the inheritance of our Father, just as with was in the beginning: Genesis 1:26-28.
Please take the time today to look beyond your own imperfections, beyond the imperfections of others, beyond the "tyranny of the urgent" and seek to see what your Creator sees, the great potential that comes from surrendering your life to, and trusting Him to make you of even greater value. Just like the potter He will not discard you, He will instead perfect you!

WHO TRULY CARES FOR YOU?

Have you ever thought about the fact that the greatest influences in the lives of most people today, are the things you can depend upon the least? Lets take a look for example at the American or even Worldwide media. Do they have your best interests at heart? Is the news you see and hear focused upon making you a better person, meeting your financial or social needs? Are the commercials which now consume as much time as the entertainment focused upon meeting your needs, or influencing you to purchase a product, buy in to an ideal, make abnormal normal? The reality is that commercial television is primarily designed to manipulate your mind to accept the world view, to numb your senses, etc. Yet when you are in need, will the celebrities and TV personalities, the people who influence you, be there to help you? The answer of course is no. Will the famous Tok Tok or sports personalities, run to your rescue? Is social media and television designed to make us better, to instill moral values in the minds of our children and grandchildren? Do politicians truly have your best interest at heart or are they simply seeking to fulfill their agenda?

As a believer in and follower of Jesus Christ "I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth." (Psalm 121). "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6 Need more? Matthew 6:25-34, Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5.
Isn't it time to start seeking more influence from the one who will be there in our time of need, the one who will never leave us, the one who loves us unconditionally, the one who has our best and the best of our Children, Grandchildren, our friends, and our enemies in mind? The One who never seeks our harm and purposes to protect us from it? I think so.

DELIVERANCE IS AVAILABLE FOR ALL

In todays World we see a much higher percentage of the human race living in some form of spiritual bo***ge. These forms of Bo***ge can be rooted in Witchcraft, Addiction, Fear, Shame, Guilt, Unforgiveness, or any number of other influences The reality is no matter what the cause there is a 100% effective manner in which to destroy them and to be set free. This reality comes in the form of the true power of the One Living God, Yahweh.While there are many gods there is only one true God who can deliver through the power of the Holy Spirit. Other gods are only deceivers who will entrap people into further bo***ge, and they are unfortunately quite effective at it.
How do you know which god is real? If you can plead the Blood of Jesus, Yeshua, if you can speak His Holy Name and renounce all former sin and Bo***ge you are on the right path. Deliverance begins with repentance and true repentance leads to deliverance, and yes it can be instantaneous! True repentance means to turn away from and not return to. When we return we find ourselves seeking recovery and denying the Dunamis power of Yahweh. Returning is remembering, remembering brings on the bo***ge of failure, blame, anger, and more. Hence we find ourselves back to, or even in a worse state of Bo***ge.
Is it difficult to be free from bo***ge, to be delivered? Only as difficult as we make it. If we can truly believe that Jesus Christ has paid the price for our failings, that He has redeemed us by His Blood. If we have faith true faith to believe that Yahweh is the One true God who's promises are eternal, we can and will be set free. Is it a battle to remain free? Yes it can be. However if we will avoid traveling the path of the past, if we will remind ourselves of His Promises and stay in the Word, remain in fellowship with the Holy Spirit, we shall prevail, for it is promised to us! Amen
