I pray lead us in your truth, help the pastor to have wisdom on what to say, help him hear you in the little ist of loudest voice, let your voice flow in a soft breeze, heal the hearts of all who need you, draw them to your word and once again bless this church.

We loved having Berean Fellowship president, Tyce Jensen, and his family out last weekend.

They got a chance to meet the newest church added to the BFC (that's us!) and we had a chance to hear his heart for Flagstaff on Sunday morning.

This church was established in 1970.

Like any history of people, there have been highs and lows. Mountains and valleys. Thriving and surviving. 

We honor the history of this church, Calvary Bible.
And we look forward to what God will do now and in years to come, Evergreen Church.

Evergreen Church is a multi-generational community seeking to be deeply rooted in Jesus and cultivating lives that flourish. We desire to be a place where the weary find rest and families grow in authentic connection. Together, we pursue Jesus and trust Him to sustain and grow us through every season of life. 

The principles that guide our behavior are:

Biblical Integrity
We read Scripture with the author’s original intent in mind and develop all our theology from that foundation. 

Gentle and Lowly
We treat others with care and humility, following the example of Christ who put others first.

Thoughtful Obedience
We listen for our assignment from God and respond with discernment, saying yes to the right things and no to the rest.

Hello, church!

1) We will have church tomorrow, even if the power is off.

2) The Bison Ranch Youth Social has been postponed due to 50 mph winds at the ranch. We will still have a game night at the church from 6-8 PM tomorrow. Dinner provided!

I know we are all in prayer for the Pocket Fire, first responders, and those suffering from poor air quality and lack of power. May our church be a place and a people who are encouragers, helpers, and a source of joy to our neighbors!

If your life is built around anything other than Jesus, it's like building a house with crooked walls.

No political party, career, body, bank statement, boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse, child, accomplishment, house, car, or situation can replace the Cornerstone that is Jesus.

"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12

When He is our starting point, all other lines fall into place.

In Acts 4, we see the church facing persecution to the point of death, and yet, with Jesus as their center, they had hope. Their prayers reveal a group of people not begging for persecution to end, but for boldness in the face of it.
