Thinking of Pope Francis, lifting up prayers for recovery as he is being treated in the hospital for a respiratory infection. It's not too late to begin a Lenten fast. Maybe you attempted one but were unable to maintain it, or maybe the practice slipped by you this year. It's not too late to embark on a spiritual practice in preparation of Easter. Pope Francis invites us to this transformative fast, emptying ourselves of that which crowds out love--love of God, neighbor, the Other, and ourselves.
