What does life look like when Jesus is truly King? This summer, we're diving into the greatest sermon ever preached—the Sermon on the Mount.

Jesus' kingdom is upside down from the world we live in. The world says be strong, promote yourself, and never show weakness. But Jesus says blessed are the poor in spirit, the meek, and the merciful. His kingdom elevates servants instead of the self-promoting. It honors surrender over strength and peace over power.

The Beatitudes aren't a checklist to complete—they're a portrait of what Jesus creates in people who surrender to His kingdom. Every day we choose: the kingdom of self or the kingdom of heaven. Real transformation doesn't come from trying harder to be meek or merciful. It comes from following Jesus and becoming like Him.

Is Jesus your King, or just an advisor? He refuses to be part of your life—He is Lord of all or not at all. Join us this summer as we sit at the feet of Jesus and discover what it means to live under His reign.

We've all been there—stuck in the waiting room of life, wondering where God is and what He's doing. Maybe you're waiting on test results, a job opportunity, or healing in a relationship. The waiting can feel unbearable.

This week we wrapped up our series "The Waiting Room" with the powerful story of the Prodigal Son from Luke 15. This young man wasted everything, hit rock bottom, and prepared his bargaining speech for his father. But before he could even finish, his father ran to him, threw his arms around him, and restored him completely—no questions asked.

That's our God. He doesn't wait for us to clean ourselves up. He meets us in the mess, sits with us in the uncertainty, and restores us fully when we turn back to Him. The real question isn't "Where is God?" but rather "Am I willing to let Him in?"

Whatever waiting room you're in today, remember: God's plan is on time (Habakkuk 2:3), He's holding you up (Isaiah 41:10), and joy is coming (Psalm 30:5). You're not alone in the waiting.
