📢SLDM is currently seeking candidates for two positions.

The first is a full-time Coordinator of Adult Formation, Women’s Ministries, and Youth. This role involves strategic planning and coordination of ministry efforts for adults, with a focus on women’s ministry and youth formation for junior high and high school girls. Responsibilities include leading initiatives like the Rescue Project and Barstool Theology, and supporting prayer opportunities.

The second position is a part-time Coordinator of OCIA and OCIC, responsible for guiding those interested in becoming Catholic through formation and faith development. This role involves planning, coordinating formation sessions, and leading volunteer teams.

USCCB CONSECRATES THE NATION

On June 11, the USCCB will consecrate our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This national moment of prayer is an opportunity to entrust our country, families, and Church to the love and mercy of Christ.

Join us in the church for a Sacred Heart Holy Hour on Friday, June 12 at 7:00pm in collaboration with Knights of Columbus Council 6923.

🙏Following the Sunday, 5:00pm Mass, on June 7th, at SLDM, join us in a Eucharistic Procession that will travel around our campus to three altars. (Meet in front of the Church at approximately 6:00pm.)

✝During his Wednesday General Audience, Pope Leo XIV emphasized the importance of the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, encouraging participation in public processions that express faith through the Blessed Sacrament. He highlighted these processions as a beautiful manifestation of Eucharistic devotion and reminded the faithful that the Eucharist represents Jesus, "bread broken and given for each one of us."

Our annual Corpus Christi Procession has become a beautiful tradition at SLDM!

Following the 5:00 PM Mass on Sunday, June 7, at St. Louis de Montfort, participants are asked to gather beneath the portico (in front of the church) prior to the start of the procession. The Eucharistic Procession will travel around our campus to three altars, which have been decorated by parishioners.

After the Procession, there is a dinner in Craig W***y Hall for all to enjoy!

This year we have extra cause for celebration as we rejoice in Father Jacob Miller's Ordination to the Priesthood and his assignment as Parochial Vicar at SLDM!

We invite all parishioners to join us for this beautiful Solemnity.

Come and celebrate with us! The SLDM parish will celebrate Fr. Miller’s ordination and assignment to our parish at our Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession and Dinner on Sunday, June 7 after the 5:00 pm Mass, where Fr. Miller will be the main celebrant.
