Fun day at Annual Conference! Rev. Bruce Weiman was celebrated as an individual who has helped make Annual Conference run smoothly for 43 years! Pastor Susan, chair of the IGRC Commission on Communications, introduced him and his honor of being inducted into the United Methodist Association of Communications’ Hall of Fame this past Fall. Thanks to Pastor Kevin Little for running a video camera and for taking these pics!

Friday's sessions begin at 9 am; lunch break is 12:00-2:00; adjournment about 5:00. There will be awards and recognitions during the morning 'Service of Ministry Celebration' session and the afternoon begins with a Service of Recognition of Retirees.
Saturday's Ordination Worship Service (2-1/2 hours) begins at 9:30 am. Pastor Susan will be ordained a Deacon in Full Connection during this service.

The Annual Conference will begin at 10 a.m. June 4 with Opening Worship with Bishop David Bard preaching. The broadcast will continue until noon when the Conference breaks for lunch. Our Children’s Message today was about what talents we already have that can be used to share God’s love. Charles Wesley, one of Methodism’s founders, wrote poems/hymns. What can we do to share the message? One idea is to share encouraging words and pictures by coloring sidewalks with chalk! After the service, we put that idea into practice.
