If having your kids at home for Christmas break has reminded you, please contact us if you're interested in signing up for the after school program. We are seeking a minimum number of 15 commitments by December 29 to proceed with the program in January.

River Valley Church of Christ is offering an after school program for K-6th graders attending Fisher Grade School. The program starts when the students are dismissed from school and ends at 5:30pm each school day. The program will begin earlier on early dismissal days, but will not meet on days when school is closed. Students will take the school bus from the grade school to the church for arrival and must be picked up by a registered parent or guardian. All students will be served a snack daily. They will also participate in indoor and outdoor activities, and have time to start or complete homework. The program cost is $20 per day per child. There are a limited number of spots available, so please contact the church office at 217-897-1260 for an application or more information.

It's hard to believe, but Christmas is less than a month away, and that means Christmas dinner! ⛄️🎄🍽

The Fisher Area Food Pantry and the Fisher Area Churches are partnering with Ingold's Meat & Deli to provide holiday meals for those in need this Christmas. Meals may include the choice of a ham or turkey, rolls, pie, potatoes, stuffing mix, vegetables, canned pumpkin, green bean casserole, and more.

Requests for a Christmas meal must be made by Thursday, December 7.
