1 John 5:14 says that we have confidence when approaching God the Father, that if we ask anything according to his will, He hears us. There have been many times in my life that I have been angry with God for not "hearing what I ask"! But, maturing in my relationship with Him has meant that I begin to understand that He is not my personal genie in a bottle. He is God, I am not.
