When Jesus first appeared to His disciples after the resurrection, His greeting wasn't casual—it was profound. "Shalom. Peace be with you." This wasn't just peace; it was safety, rest, wholeness, completion, and well-being all wrapped into one divine blessing.

The gospel can be shared in just 29 words: "For this is how God loved the world. He gave His one and only Son so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). That's the power of God's love—simple yet life-transforming.

Today is the day of salvation. Faith means Forsaking All, I Trust Him. You have two choices: believe in the Son and receive eternal life, or reject Him. There's no middle ground. If Jesus is tugging at your heart today, don't wait for tomorrow—the most dangerous word in the English language. Let His shalom fill your life completely.

The Gospel in Twenty-Nine Words
Reading: John 3:16-17, 36

Devotional:

The entire gospel message can be communicated in just twenty-nine words: "For this is how God loved the world. He gave His one and only Son so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." This simple yet profound truth contains everything we need to know about salvation.

John the Baptist made it clear: we have only two options regarding Christ. Those who believe in the Son have everlasting life beginning the very moment they believe. Those who reject Him face God's wrath. There is no middle ground, no neutral position. To not accept Christ is to reject Him.

The most dangerous word in the English language is "tomorrow." Today is the day of salvation. Don't postpone the most important decision you'll ever make.

Reflection: Have you truly believed and received Christ? If not, today is your day. If yes, who needs to hear this twenty-nine-word gospel from you?

Citizens of the Holy City
Reading: Psalm 87; Jude 1:3-11

Devotional: The final Psalm of Korah's sons contains stunning prophecy: Egypt, Babylon, Philistia—nations of captivity and enemies of God—will become citizens of Jerusalem. How? Through Jesus, who makes outsiders into family members. Jude mentions Korah alongside Satan, fallen angels, and Sodom—yet Korah's descendants wrote Scripture inspired by the Holy Spirit. This is the gospel: God takes the worst and makes it glorious. You may have come from a broken home, carry a shameful past, or bear the weight of family dysfunction. But in Christ, you're a citizen of the holy city. The source of your life is no longer your past but Jesus, crucified outside Jerusalem's gates. Today, declare over your family: "Death will no longer be our shepherd. The Living God is our portion." Enough is enough. A new song begins now.

The Transformation Begins
Reading: 1 Chronicles 6:31-38

Devotional: Generations after Korah's rebellion, something miraculous appears in Scripture: Heman the musician, descended from Korah, leads worship in David's tabernacle. The family name once associated with rebellion, pride, and destruction now leads God's people into His presence through worship. This is the power of redemption. God didn't just forgive the sons of Korah—He transformed their legacy entirely. The blood of Jesus works backward and forward in time, breaking curses and creating new destinies. Your past doesn't determine your future when God intervenes. The family patterns you've known, the name you've inherited, the reputation that precedes you—none of these are stronger than God's redemptive power. Today, believe that God can completely transform your family's story.

The Weight of Inheritance
Reading: Numbers 16:1-15

Devotional: Korah was a Levite, chosen to serve in God's presence—a privilege most Israelites never experienced. Yet pride and comparison blinded him to the blessing he already possessed. His rebellion wasn't just against Moses; it was against God's sovereign choice. Today, examine what God has already given you. Are you despising your calling because you're envious of someone else's? The lies we tell ourselves are often the most dangerous. Korah convinced himself and 250 others that his rebellion was righteous. What lies have you been entertaining about your worth, your calling, or God's goodness? Korah's choices didn't just affect him—they impacted his entire household. Your spiritual decisions carry generational weight. Choose wisely today.
