The Gnostic Church of Sophia stands against white supremacist evangelical hegemony forcing their beliefs on other Americans. Faith, and health care, are both immensely personal and private decisions.
We are perfectly happy to fight fire with fire.
Life begins at first breath, not conception.
We welcome seekers of all (& no) faiths in our congregation and we will back you up with letters for religious accommodation & scriptural reasoning for your very personal decision.
The Dobbs ruling is WRONG and we will fight this fight with all our trans brothers, cis sisters, and afab nonbinary siblings.

It apparently needs to be said.
We welcome ALL of God's children with Love and joy.
If you are Trans, if you are q***r, if you are gay, if you are non-binary, you are welcome here. You are safe here. You are loved here.
There is no room in the body of Christ for transphobia, homophobia, misogyny, or abuse of any kind. It will never be tolerated within this church.

Given that the world haw lost Tau Rosamonde, after a period of mourning we will be restarting our own services rather than redirecting those who have asked to view the Gnostic Sanctuary sermons over Zoom.
I don't know what this will look like yet.
Please bare with us through this difficult time and send love to our church family in Redwood City.

As always, I remind everyone that we are not officially or legally affiliated with The Gnostic Sanctuary. Tau Rosamonde was my spiritual leader, my Teacher, the one who baptized me even, but I did not study for the priesthood under her, and I have and will continue to respect her request that I always make this clear when asked. She is, however, the one who guided me for many years, and told me to listen to the Spirit when I was called to the ministry. I owe her everything. For now, my soul grieves this loss.

Yesterday, we lost a source of Light and Love in this world.
From The Rev. David Miller of the Ecclesia Gnostica Mysteriorum:
"It is with profound sadness that I inform you that My Beloved Rosamonde passed away yesterday at 2:30PM. She was joy and light to us all and there are no words to describe how much she will be missed."

We beseech Thee, Beloved of our hearts, to give those Tau Rosamonde Ikshvàku Miller has left behind Thy protection and care, that they may enjoy the grace of Thy Presence, and that she, whose earthly vessel has died, may live in the Light of Thy Gnosis.
I weep now, but I know this is not the end. Rosamonde, you are with the Beloved Mother, the Loving Father, and we will all be reunited in the Pleroma again.
Be at peace, my beloved Teacher.
I Love you as one who can not help but to love one such as you. You lit my path for so long, I fear walking without your guidance, but I know you were but one glimpse of the Love shining through into this world. As you rejoin the Light, I know You are still with us.

The Gnostic Church of Sophia joins our brothers and sisters in the Apostolic Johannite Church. We recognize, stand with, and support oppressed communities globally, and are dedicated to the principles of the universal presence of God within All and the equality of all peoples without exception. We reject utterly the ideas of white supremacism and all other forms of hatred, exclusion, and oppression. We find these doctrines to be fundamentally incompatible with the teachings of the Christ and the Holy Gnosis.
