September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month and today is World Su***de Prevention Day. All are invited to a special Mass on September 12, to pray for all who have been lost to su***de, for survivors of su***de and for all who have lost a family member, friend or colleague. We also pray that, as Church and as individuals, we can help prevent su***de by raising awareness and knowing how to help those in need.

The theme of "Living Water" for the Season of Creation is drawn from Ezekiel 47: 1- 12, "which portrays God’s life-giving water flowing from the temple of God. The river grows deeper and deeper restoring barren land, reviving waters and sustaining flourishing ecosystems." Our faith teaches us to actively safeguard and work for the renewal of creation so that environmental healing and human well-being may flourish together (seasonofcreation.org).

In observance of Labor Day, the Parish Office will be closed on Monday, September 7th. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8th. The 9am Mass will still be celebrated as scheduled, and all are welcome to attend.
