Our hearts break for our friend, Ken, who lost his dog, Obruni, to fentanyl exposure. And I am inspired by how Ken took his grief and turned it into something that could bring good to others. He took Obruni's story to vets, and police, and news stations until KING 5 picked it up, recognizing the importance of advocating for the safety of everyone who uses our public spaces. Obruni's death is senseless, but Ken made sure her life left a legacy of love for neighbor. If you know Ken at all you know this is not uncommon for him - he has spent his life being an advocate for so many in need. Our hearts are with you Ken!
