📚🎒 Help Local Students Start the School Year Ready to Learn! 🎒📚

Caring for Kids is an all-volunteer organization serving children and families in the Clover Park, University Place, and Steilacoom School Districts.

We're preparing for our annual Ready to Learn Fair, where students in need will receive FREE school supplies, clothing, hygiene products, haircuts, immunizations, and a hot dog brunch to help them start the school year with confidence.

🕘 Student distribution begins at 9:00 AM

How you can help:
💙 Make a financial donation.
✏️ Donate new school supplies, including:
• Crayola crayons
• Crayola markers
• Colored pencils
• Glue sticks
• Black or blue pens

📍 Donations can be dropped off at the Clover Park School District Administration Building:

🙋 Volunteer with us!
We're looking for volunteers on:
• Friday, August 7 at 7:30 AM for event setup
• Saturday, August 8 at 7:30 AM for distribution

Grow Food. Share Dinner. Build Community.

Join us every Wednesday evening for a family-friendly Community Dinner & Garden Volunteer Night at Fircrest Presbyterian Church. We’ll spend time caring for the community garden together, share a free meal around the table, and connect with neighbors of all ages. Produce goes to foodbank

Whether you love gardening, want to help out, or simply need a welcoming place to share dinner and conversation, you are invited.

We love partnering with Gather Tacoma to host the Wednesday night kids group Gather & Grow! We use resources from Illustrated Ministry to grow love (for God, neighbor, creation, and so much more) in the hearts and minds of the kids who join us. Join us for dinner any Wednesday night!
