Looking for a fun, free, and faith-filled week for your kids this summer?
Peace & St. Paul's Lutheran Churches are thrilled to invite all children to our 2026 Vacation Bible School! Hosted at Peace Lutheran Church in Finlayson, MN, this exciting week is completely FREE and open to all kids from Pre-K through 7th grade.

📅 When: Monday, July 13th – Friday, July 17th
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Monday – Thursday)
🕒 Special Friday Hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
🎉 VBS Program: Friday evening at 7:00 PM (Bring the whole family, friends, and neighbors to see what the kids learned!)

What a wonderful finale to our Sunday School year yesterday!

We want to say a massive THANK YOU to our incredible teachers and volunteers who poured so much love, time, and energy into our kids each week. You are such a blessing to our Peace Lutheran family!

To all of our amazing students: We are so proud of you. As we head into summer, remember to keep loving and learning about Jesus every single day.

But wait... the fun isn’t over yet!
We are already gearing up for Vacation Bible School (VBS) this summer, and we can't wait to see you all there.

🩸 A Heartfelt Thank You from Peace Lutheran! 🩸

We are still feeling the warmth from this week’s blood drive! A huge THANK YOU to everyone in the Finlayson community and our congregation who showed up to roll up their sleeves. Your donation is a literal gift of life, and we are so proud of the turnout.

We want to extend a very special "Thank You" to Bev Mensing and Trice Olson. Their dedication and hard work in organizing these drives at Peace Lutheran make this all possible. We are so grateful for your leadership and your hearts for service!

🙏 Asleep in Jesus: Robert "Bob" Koski

With hope in the resurrection, we share the news that our brother in Christ, Robert "Bob" Koski, has been called home to his Lord and Savior.

We invite you to join us as we gather to celebrate Bob's life and the promise of eternal life we have through Jesus Christ.

Date: Friday, April 17th

Location: Peace Lutheran Church, Finlayson, MN

Service Time: 12:30 PM

Visitation: 10:30 AM-12:30 PM

Robert Bob William Koski of Finlayson, MN passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 87 years old. A funeral service will be held for Bob at 1230pm on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Peace Lutheran Church in Finlayson, MN

Small Hands, Big Joy!

The celebration continued this morning at Peace Lutheran with some very special artists! Our "littlest members" spent time creating beautiful Easter art to celebrate the Resurrection.

There is nothing quite like seeing the story of Easter through the eyes (and colorful masterpieces) of our children.

He Is Risen! Alleluia!

Happy Easter from all of us at Peace Lutheran Church! Today we celebrate the glorious news that the tomb is empty and Christ has risen indeed. It was wonderful to see our sanctuary filled with such joy and song this morning.

A huge thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make our Easter Son-rise service and breakfast so special. From the musicians to those who flipped pancakes and brewed coffee, your hands and hearts made this celebration possible.

We are so grateful for our church here in Finlayson. Whether you joined us for the first time or have been with us for years, thank you for sharing the light of Easter with us.

✨ A Night of New Beginnings at Peace Lutheran ✨
What a powerful and moving evening! Tonight, we gathered for our very first Easter Vigil, marking the transition from darkness into the light of Christ’s resurrection. It was a beautiful service filled with reflection, and hope.

We are also overjoyed to officially welcome Taylor and Jill into our congregation! Please join us in giving them a warm Peace Lutheran welcome as they join our church family. We are so blessed to have you both with us.

🌿 Hosanna in the Highest! 🌿
What a beautiful way to kick off Holy Week! Our hearts are full after a wonderful Palm Sunday service here at Peace Lutheran Church.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Sunday School children! You did a fantastic job leading our palm processional this morning. Seeing your energy and those waving branches truly brought the spirit of Jerusalem to Finlayson.
