At this year's talent show, Silas Miller shared an original song that resonated deeply across our camp family. For those who have been coming to Family Bible Camp for years, Silas's story makes this moment even more special. When he was just a toddler, his family was pulling into the campgrounds for camp. As soon as they arrived on the property, Silas looked around and said, "I see God." Those simple words have stayed with so many of us through the years. Since then, we've had the privilege of watching him grow up at camp—from a little boy experiencing God's presence in a special way to a young man using his God-given gifts to worship and encourage others.
Family Bible Camp has always been about more than a week away. It's about lives being shaped, faith being nurtured, and generations growing together in Christ. Watching Silas share this song was a beautiful reminder of that.
Thank you, Silas, for reminding us that every year at camp is a gift—and every reunion here is a foretaste of the eternal reunion we'll one day share in heaven. ❤
