Tonight, the Findley Lake Church youth group had a great night out for ice cream and then meant to prepare for some upcoming events.

On Sunday, June 7, from 11:30 until 1:30 pm, the youth will have a car wash and bake sale to raise money for their trip to Kingdom Bound at Six Flags Darien Lake in July.

On June 14, at 10 am, our middle school and high school students will be involved in worship, sharing God‘s word, singing, and leading various aspects of the service. It will be a great morning in worship!

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
1 Timothy 4:12

*Thank you to Twin Docks for the delicious ice cream and the great service!!*

Join us for worship on Sunday morning, at 10 am. It’s Mother’s Day, and after the service, everyone is welcome to stay for hospitality time and “Muffins with Mom.”

In worship, we’ll focus on the reality that life, marriage, and faith is a journey that includes ups and downs, twists and turns. We need grace!!

We have children’s ministries for children ages 0-7th grade (nursery, Little Lambs, Jr. Church, and Ichthus) that meet after the children’s moment. All are welcome!

Build your relationship in the right order and with the right priorities.
When the box of physical intimacy is the foundation, the tower is lopsided and unstable.
The foundational box of a strong relationship is spiritual intimacy and connection. You share the same values and faith. Next goes the box of relational intimacy and connection.
Finally, when you are married, the box of physical intimacy is the top piece.

Join us for worship Sunday morning at 10 am. Music, fellowship, a testimony, and diving into God’s Word! As we gather to meet with God in worship, we’ll focus on the theme of “The Fireplace.”

A fire brings warmth and comfort within the fireplace. Outside of the fireplace, it brings harm and destruction. How does this relate to marriage, integrity, and the safeguarding of our relationships?

Children 0-7th grade are dismissed to their classes after the children’s moment.

We would love to welcome you and your family at Findley Lake Church!

Join us for a new sermon series on Song of Songs on Sunday at 10 am. In this series we’ll look at the blessings and pitfalls of love, desire, and relationships. Our time in worship will point to and reflect the love God has for us. Whether you’re married or single, come and be encouraged as we seek God’s wisdom for our lives.

Children birth - 7th grade are dismissed after the children’s moment to their classes (nursery 0-4 y.o.; Little Lambs 5-6 y.o.; Jr. Church K-3rd; and Ichthus 4th-7th grades).

All are welcome. Let us know how we can support you and your family in your walk with God. 🙏

Easter Sermon Recap...

Jesus meets us in our failures with grace. Just as He restored Peter at a charcoal fire, He invites us to His table today. Our hope isn't in a dead Savior—it's LIVING because Christ is alive. New birth. New identity. New destiny. He's not finished with you yet!

How does the image of Jesus cooking breakfast at a charcoal fire after Peter's denial reveal God's character when we fail Him, and what does this teach us about receiving second chances?

What practical difference does having a living hope in the resurrected Christ make in your daily life?

The sermon mentions that our faces tell stories ranging from joy to grief. What story is your face telling right now, and how does the resurrection speak into your current season?

How does understanding that our inheritance in Christ 'can never perish, spoil, or fade' change the way we approach loss, disappointment, or uncertainty?

Pastor Dave mentions Friday seasons of grief, Saturday seasons of waiting, and Sunday seasons of resurrection. Which season are you in, and how can you hold onto hope while waiting for Sunday?

Peter denied Jesus three times at a charcoal fire and Jesus restored him three times at another charcoal fire. What patterns of failure in your life might Jesus want to redeem and transform into opportunities to lead and serve?

The difference between mercy (not getting what we deserve) and grace (getting what we don't deserve) is highlighted in 1 Peter 1:3. How have you experienced both God's mercy and grace in your spiritual journey?
