On their last day of sleepover the stuffies helped Mr. Larry mow the lawn and played a lot! They want you to know that even though they have been away they have been taking good care of their teeth still!

The stuffies can't wait to be back with you tomorrow! Don't forget to wear your Church appropriate PJ's and come hungry for PopTarts!

I thought for sure the stuffies would get bored spending the whole week at church....but they just keep coming up with new adventures!

Today they played Twister, colored, adventured to the water fountain and made popcorn for a movie night! 😋

The stuffies started the day out great!

They had a group Bible study and helped answer the phones in the Church office! Some played Uno (one of the BridgeKids fav games 😉 ) BUT a few ornery friends today again! They busted into our snack stash! 😳 Hope they left some for us!

Most of the stuffie's were on their best behavior today! BUT, we did see a few ornery friends making silly copies on the copier 😳 😂

They also checked out some books from the library, helped me work on Kids' Camp and got some soda too!

Our stuffie friends have already had a big first day of their week-long sleepover! When I got to Church I found everyone snuggled in the tent! Then they kinda split up for the day! Some were focused on coffee, some wanted to play outside, and some wanted to hear what Pastor Michael had to say!

Did you see your stuffie? I wonder what our friends will be up to tomorrow 🤔

Have you ever found yourself in a season that felt like God was stripping away all the rough places of your heart? Maybe He is stripping away the pride in you through one hard conversation after another with people in your life. Or maybe He is revealing complacent sin in your life that has been swept under the rug for too long.

In John 15:2, Jesus explains that there will be areas in our life and in our character that must be pruned back so that we are able to bear more fruit. If we remained where we are, there would be no capability for growth or further fruit.

While the refinement process is painful and may seem counterintuitive on the surface, we know there is beauty that comes forth because of the stripping away of our sin.

If we resist the pruning seasons of our life, we are robbing the growth and beauty that is on the other side of the pain. When God chisels away at our hearts over time, we will come forth a true masterpiece of our Gardener.

Today, may we not shrink from the pruning knife but trust the hand that holds it.

Helping children develop a positive attitude will contribute greatly to their long-term development and emotional well-being.

Remember the book The Little Engine That Could? He puffed faster and harder, saying “I think I can, I think I can” until he succeeded.

What phrase motivates your family in challenging times?

Inject some humor and say your slogan together when times are tough (you’re climbing a big hill, walking a long way or stuck in slow traffic).

You’ll end up laughing about how silly you all look and show your child you’re in this together.
