There is so much to share! ❤️

If you have not been part of our “Journey With Us” page, you may not know that Mark and I were recently invited to offer a crusade in Nairobi, Kenya. What began as a ministry trip has opened doors to relationships, opportunities, and ministry connections that we believe God is continuing to grow.

We have been sharing much of our journey on the Journey With Us page and WhatsApp group, but we want to begin sharing here as well!

Over the coming weeks, I will be sharing short videos and updates here, on the Journey With Us page, and in our Journey With Us WhatsApp group. God is enlarging our territory, and we have a lot to share!

While our ministry continues to offer:

• Online Bible studies
• Local and statewide conferences and retreats
• Personal Christian mentoring

we are also seeing God open new doors through:

-- Our partnership with Soul Harvester’s Church in Kenya

-- Lilian and her family — a young girl whose life has been deeply impacted. We have recently been blessed to provide a life-saving surgery for Lilian and have also rented a home that is much more suitable for her healing and for the future of her family.

-- The girls of BuruBuru School — where we are beginning to develop a mentoring ministry for the High School age girls.

These are just a few of the people, places, and stories you will be hearing about in the upcoming videos.

And this is only the beginning.

As God continues to enlarge the ministry, we will be asking for year-end donations to help us continue to walk through these new doors and support the ministry opportunities He is placing before us.

At the first of the year, we will be launching a ministry partnership opportunity. We have already been blessed by so many people who have expressed a desire to partner with us, and we want to make that process easier and more intentional for everyone. More details will be coming soon!

We will also be implementing a monthly email newsletter to help keep our donors, partners, and friends up to date with what God is doing through the ministry.

So consider this your invitation to be a part of what God is doing through TRR Ministries.

There are stories to tell, lives being touched, doors opening, and opportunities to share the love of Jesus in ways we never could have imagined and we hope you will partner with us!

Good morning! I am reading A.W. Tozer’s “ the pursuit of God”. This Covenant prayer that he shared is powerful… “ Lord Jesus, I come to thee for spiritual preparation. Lay thy hand upon me. Anoint me with the oil of the New Testament prophet. Forbid that I should become a religious scribe and thus lose my prophetic calling. Save me from the curse that lies dark across the face of the Modern clergy, the curse of compromise, of intimidation, of professionalism. Save me from the error of judging a Church by its size, its popularity or the amount if it’s a yearly offerings. Help me to remember that I am a prophet – not a promoter, not a religious manager, but a prophet. Let me never become a slave to crowds. Heal my soul of carnal ambitions and deliver me from the itch for publicity. Save me from bo***ge to things. Let me not waste my days puttering around the house. Lay the terror upon me, oh God, and drive me to the place of prayer where I may wrestle with principalities and powers and the rulers of the darkness of this world. Deliver me from over eating and late sleeping. Teach me self-discipline that I may be a good soldier of Jesus Christ. I accept hard work and small rewards in this life. I ask for no easy place. I shall try to be blind to the little ways that could make my life easier. If others seek the smoother path, I shall try to take the hard way without judging them too harshly. I shall accept opposition and try to take it quietly when it comes. Or if, as sometimes it falleth out to thy servants, I should have grateful gifts pressed up upon me by the kindly people, stand by me then and save me from the blight that often follows. Teach me to use whatever I receive in such a manner that it will not injure my soul or diminish my spiritual power.”

We are so very thankful for those of you who desire to be a part of our journey to Kenya. We have created a private FB group where we are sharing prayer requests, videos of what is happening as we prepare to go… we will share info and videos from Kenya and when we return home. Lately, the Lord has put in on my heart to pray fervantly for those people in my life who do not yet know the Lord. Along with this has come the heartbreaking word or thought that many people in this world do not have anyone petitioning the throne room for them.

May I encourage you? If you are a Mother concerned for your child that has wandered far from the Lord, rather than worry about this child.....pray for them. Petition the throne room for them. Your voice may be the only one mentioning their name in the heavenlies.

If you are worried that your Grandchildren are not being raised to know the Lord, pray for them. Your voice may be the only voice petitioning the throne room on their behalf.

If your heart is burdened for friends, family members, neighbors or people you have never even met....maybe those that live in another country....rather than talk about these people, rather than feel bad for these people, rather than worry or "hope" that things will turn around for them....pray. Petition our Father in heaven who sits on the throne.

"Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need". Hebrews 4:16

The throne is where we will find God's grace and help. Let us approach the throne with confidence. Your voice may be the only one petitioning God for the people that you are worried about. Not worrying about anything, instead praying about everything is a good way to live.

For more encouragment to petition the throne room.... read the Parable of the Persistant Widow in Luke 18:1-8 and trust that God will will hear your persistant prayers and will be kind to those who call out to Him.
