🐄🔔 CUE THE COWBELLS!!! 🔔🐄

This Sunday, BAPTISM is happening at Lighthouse Community!

Are you wondering what baptism is and what it means? Baptism is a picture of the new life you have in Christ - leaving your old life behind and stepping into the new life that comes through Jesus. Baptism happens AFTER you have said YES to Jesus. It is the outward expression of that decision that your church family gets to celebrate with you because we may not have been there when you said yes to Jesus. This is the moment where we CELEBRATE BIG.

If you've been on the fence about baptism and you're ready to take the next step and be baptized - it's happening again NEXT Sunday, October 25. Comment "BAPTISM" and we will send you the information you need to take the next step.

God fights for you, not with you. He's already won the battle. Be still and fight from victory.

⚔️ EPHESIANS 6 ⚔️

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

What happens on Sunday doesn't have to stay on Sunday...

The Bible assures us to cast all our anxieties on God because He loves us. Jesus already carried our sins, so He is more than capable to handle our worries, doubts, and concerns. Trust in His strength.

WE PRAY BOLD PRAYERS 🙏

Sunday, we talked about the rhythm of prayer. Maybe you were sitting in church or watching at home and thinking "how can I do this practically?". This Thursday at 11:30am, you're invited to pray at Lighthouse Community. The time will be focused on prayer.

"Prayer is not just talking to God, it is giving space for Him to communicate back to us".

Experience the rhythm of prayer this Thursday at 11:30am. Please feel free to bring lunch with you to join in community after prayer.
