Come Worship on the Holy Hill!

Our 2026 Summer Chapel Series takes us to Eagle Rock for two special events. Emmanuel Chapel is a special place — we hope you'll join us for these Spirit-filled times on the Holy Hill!

The Return of Appalachian Vespers!
Great music and prayers plus a light reception. Join us as we prepare for a great summer. Bring the whole family!

Sunday, September 20 — 11:00 a.m.
Homecoming Service
Worship in Eagle Rock as we celebrate the end of summer, the beginning of fall, and our historic roots in Eagle Rock. Pot luck BBQ afterwards in the fire house. No service in Fincastle this day.

St. Mark's folks will be here Sunday, August 3rd for their monthly Summer Chapel Series service of Holy Communion with Fr. Stephen Stanley as Celebrant and Brooke Tolley as our special musician. The service starts at 11:00am! See you then!

The Episcopal Men's Fellowship of St. Mark's will be doing a little sprucing up of Emmanuel Chapel. This Saturday morning, God willing, we'll get started on getting loose paint off the ramp, with the plan to be at Emmanuel at 9:30.

This Sunday, July 28th, St. Mark's will be in Eagle Rock at Emmanuel Chapel for the Summer Chapel Series! The Morning Prayer service will start at 11:00am and there will be no service or adult education at St. Mark's in Fincastle.

Our musical guest will be Preston Pauley, who will be playing duets with Anna, and Jake Webb will preach and officiate the service. Come worship with us!

About Preston: He is thrilled to be performing these duets with Ms. Anna. Preston has been playing piano for around ten years. He is a homeschooled rising 11th grader who enjoys participating in community theatre at Attic Productions in Fincastle. He will be performing in their upcoming production of Footloose. Preston thanks Ms. Anna for inviting him to play at this service!

Our first 2024 Summer Chapel Series Service!

Join us at Emmanuel Chapel in Eagle Rock on the Holy Hill this Sunday, June 30 at 11:00am for a special service of Holy Communion, Rite I with musician, Aspen Black.

Dress casual!

After the service there will be a pot luck lunch in the Fire Hall across the street. Hot dogs, chicken dogs and veggie burgers will be provided. Please bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to share.
(Perfect excuse to try that new recipe or pick something up at the store)

Note that there will be no Adult Education or service at St. Mark's on June 30! Zoom Available for Eagle Rock Service.
