Yesterday morning, students in Kindergarten to 8th Grade at Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy celebrated their first Mass of the new school year with Father Gali. Following Mass, everyone gathered for an epic group picture, then Father toured the classrooms with principal Dr. Adriana Julian to meet teachers and greet our young learners.

The Archbishop Brunett Retreat Center in Federal Way was a beautiful location for our Parish Family staff retreat last week! Thank you to Auxiliary Bishop Schuster for concelebrating Mass with Fathers Cal and Gali, and for providing an inspiring talk on renewal and vision to staff from our 3 Parishes and 2 schools. The day of fellowship also included prayer, Adoration and time for silent reflection as we joyfully prepare for the start of a new year at both schools on September 1.

Thank you to everyone from across our Parish Family who gathered on Sunday, August 23, to celebrate the Birthday of Father Cal (wearing a special accessory), and to the staff and volunteers at Sacred Heart Parish for hosting a festive afternoon of music, food, gifts and joy. Near the end of 8:30 am Mass at St. Martin of Tours last Sunday, August 23, Sadie from the Parish's Altar Society presented our new vicar, Father Suresh Gali (who joined this Parish Family in early July) with a handy "Mass kit" for off-site Communion services and Anointings. Parishioners were invited after both Masses that morning to receptions for welcoming Father to our community. Thanks to Altar Society for providing sweet treats, Mary for the cake, and God for bringing us Father Gali!

Though registration recently closed for one of the upcoming Adult Bible Studies at All Saints, there are still 5 more to explore! Online and in-person classes are available on Mondays and Tuesdays from September to March, each examining a fascinating aspect of Catholicism.
