Dean Olsen did our Hoedown karaoke for years, so we are excited to bring back his daughter, Alison (Olsen) Hempel and Cody Hempel, for this community celebration! Please join us!!!

Yee Haw! We have paid off our church mortgage! To celebrate and give thanks to God and all of our friends and neighbors who have helped us reach this milestone, we will be hosting a Mortgage Burning Celebration on Sunday, June 14th from 3 to 7 PM. Please help spread the word that the Easter Vigil which was to take place at St. Lawrence in Mentor is being canceled. Fr John encourages all families to view Mass on EWTN or other church websites and pages who might be livestreaming today.

4/3/2026 - Fr. John has decided to cancel the Good Friday service that was scheduled for 4 PM this afternoon at St. Lawrence in Mentor. This is due to the snowstorm that is moving into the area. Parishioners are encouraged to watch Good Friday services on EWTN at 2 PM this afternoon or search out a service on an area Catholic church website. St Andrews in Hawley often steams their services live on Facebook. Stay tuned for updates on the Saturday Easter vigil which will likely also be canceled. Fr. John will make that decision on Saturday morning.
