At WEGS, We Encourage God's Servants. What an encouragement it is to know that God calls us His and we can know His voice!

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” (John 10:27, NKJV)

There’s something deeply comforting about recognizing a familiar voice. Just as children instantly know the sound and tone of their parents' voices, we too, as followers of Jesus, come to recognize His voice. We learn it through His Word, and we grow familiar with it through prayer. His voice brings peace, direction, and assurance—it never leads us into confusion or fear.

God also reminds us in Isaiah 43:1 that He has redeemed us and called us by name—we are His. That truth alone anchors our hearts: we are not forgotten, not overlooked, not wandering without belonging. We are His.

A shepherd never loses sight of his flock. His care is constant, attentive, and intentional. In the same way, there is never a moment when God is not watching over you, not caring for you, not guiding you. Even in the quiet or uncertain seasons, His presence remains steady.

You are known. You are called. You are never outside of His care. You are loved!

This is a great goal for us as this week begins!

As this new week begins, take a deep breath and remember this truth: you were never created to mirror the opinions of people—you were created to reflect the glory of God.

2 Corinthians 3:18 reminds us that we are being transformed into His image, from glory to glory. Not into who the world says we should be. Not into the version of ourselves that feels most acceptable or approved. But into His reflection—steady, intentional, and divinely designed.

So why do we spend so much energy trying to live up to shifting expectations, when Heaven has already called us a masterpiece?

God doesn’t look at you and see potential waiting to be approved by others. He sees His reflection already at work within you. He sees beauty where you’ve been critical. He sees purpose where you’ve felt uncertain. He sees completion where you’ve been striving.

This week, let that truth anchor you.

Walk into every room knowing you don’t have to perform for identity—you carry it.
You don’t have to chase validation—you’re already seen.
You don’t have to reflect the world—you were made to reflect Him.

Let the pressure fall away. Let the comparison lose its grip. Let the truth rise:

You are His image.
You are His reflection.
You are His masterpiece in motion.

And that is more than enough.

To the woman who has walked with Jesus through years of marriage, especially when facing a dismissive-avoidant spirit: Your reliance on Him is your greatest strength. When words fail and connection feels distant, remember that the Lord is your constant companion and advocate. He sees your faithful heart, hears your prayers, and sees your enduring spirit.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)

Hold fast to His promises and His peace, which guards your heart and mind. He is your refuge and your hope, renewing your strength for every season.

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." (Isaiah 40:31)
