🎉 ONE YEAR OF RE:MIX — HAPPY RE:MIXVERSARY! 🎉
One year.
One year of Wednesday nights.
One year of games, laughter, conversations, worship, prayer, tears, breakthroughs, and countless moments that only Heaven could fully measure.
And in this first year, over 100 students have walked through the doors of RE:MIX. 🙌🏼
About half of those students have made a decision to give their lives to Jesus. And about half of those continue to show up regularly on Wednesdays and Sundays.
But can I tell you something?
It’s not about the numbers.
The numbers simply represent names.
Names represent lives.
And lives represent eternity.
Every student who has walked through those doors carries a story, a family, a future, a calling, and a destiny that God has already seen.
Some came because a friend invited them.
Some came because they needed somewhere to belong.
Some came not knowing what they believed.
Some came carrying things no teenager should have to carry.
But they walked through the doors.
And we believe that every seed planted matters. 🌱
Every prayer matters.
Every conversation matters.
Every hug matters.
Every worship song matters.
Every Bible verse spoken over a student matters.
Every invitation matters.
Every Wednesday night matters.
Because we may plant the seed, and we may water it, but God gives the increase. 🌱✨
There are seeds being planted in RE:MIX that we may never get to see fully grow. Some of these students may not have their breakthrough while standing in our youth room. Some may walk away for a season. Some may struggle. Some may question. Some may come back years from now and remember one Wednesday night when somebody told them that Jesus loved them.
But the seed is still there.
We aren’t just trying to build a youth ministry.
We are building an altar.
We are creating a place where students can encounter Jesus.
A place where the lost can be found.
Where the hurting can be healed.
Where the bound can be set free.
Where students discover that they aren’t too young to be used by God.
We believe revival doesn’t have an age requirement.
And maybe the greatest testimony of this first year isn’t how many students came through our doors…
It’s what God is going to do with every seed that was planted.
So here’s to ONE YEAR of RE:MIX. 🎉
One year of saying YES to the next generation.
And we believe this is only the beginning.
The first year was about planting.
The next years will be about watching God bring the harvest.
RE:MIX — where students connect, encounter Jesus, and are equipped to impact their world.
