First Saturday Workshop
Symbols from Spirit

On Saturday, June 6, Rev. David Shaw will present an interactive workshop about interpreting Symbols from Spirit. Learn what specific symbols mean for you as Spirit sends you messages from beyond.

The workshop is from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a short lunch break, so bring your own meal. The cost is $40 for members and $45 for non-members.

Higher Self Meditation

On Tuesday, June 9 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Patty Shaw will be leading a meditation on various topics using techniques from Change Your Aura, Change Your Life by Barbara Y. Martin and Dimitri Moraitis from the Spiritual Arts Institute, Encinitas, CA. The meditations are on 2nd Tuesday of each month.

These meditations will focus on: Deepening the love in your relationships; Improving your career; Transforming destructive thoughts and emotions; and Increasing prosperity while teaching you how to become closer to God.

The cost is $5.00, and the money raised goes to the Center of Enlightenment.

Reiki Share
for Practitioners Only

People who give Reiki healings are always giving. This meeting is an opportunity for them to share and receive Reiki with their fellow practitioners. This meeting is ONLY for those who are certified Reiki I or higher.

The group meets on the second Sunday of the month, which is June 14 at 1 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The cost is $5.00, and the money raised goes to the Center of Enlightenment.

The CoE Choir has practices on the first and third Monday of the month. That means the choir will next meet on June 15. The Choir meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

Guest Rev. Kathleen Hellenberg does a great job preparing the choir for performances at Sunday Services throughout the year. Please contact Rev. Kathleen if you want to join the choir.

Our monthly Fellowship Potluck follows services on Sunday, June 21. As always, the church is providing the entree. Please bring a side dish or dessert to pass that serves 8-10 people. If you have special dietary needs, please bring a dish that meets them and a sign saying what is special about the dish for the benefit of others.

The CoE Choir has practices on the first and third Monday of the month. That means the choir will meet on June 1 and 15. The Choir meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

Instead of meeting in the Sanctuary on June 1, the Choir will be meeting at the Ferndale Public Library for "The Science of Sound: Discover the Healing Power of Your Own Voice" workshop at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome!

Third Friday Fundraiser
All-Message Night

On the third Friday of each month, we host a fundraiser for the church. We offer lectures with guest speakers, All Message Night, Healing Night, Game Night, and other activities. This enables all to learn more about our church. There are a variety of love offerings, so please check the website and our page. These community events begin at 7:00 p.m.

Rev. Carol Willis will be hosting an All-Message Night on Friday, May 15 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Our ministers and mediumship graduates are guided by angels, spirit guides, and higher masters to share messages. Join us for love, family, and wonder.

We will be meeting in the Sanctuary, so only water and cough drops are permitted. The cost is $20.

1st Saturday Workshop

On Saturday, May 2, Rev. Carol Willis will be leading a review of the book Understanding Your Soul: The Channeled Wisdom of Jesus by Christine M Bush.

In Understanding Your Soul, Jesus explains the role that our souls play in each of our lives - outlining what we want to learn in each lifetime and planning events to support our intentions. Every soul’s purpose is to expand, Jesus says, and our souls have chosen to be on earth at this difficult time for personal and global reasons. Our world is experiencing a complete shift that calls us to confront dark energy with love.

This book opens the door to a new relationship with your own soul or higher self as it guides you to understand life’s events and the spiritual reasons behind them. It’s not necessary to have read the book before class; however, please RSVP in advance because handout materials will need to be prepared.

The cost is $40 for members and $45 for the general public. Please RSVP with Rev. Carol at [email protected]. There will be a lunch break, so you are welcome to pack something to eat in our Letia Woods Fellowship Hall.

On Tuesday, May 12 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Patty Shaw will be leading a meditation on various topics using techniques from Change Your Aura, Change Your Life by Barbara Y. Martin and Dimitri Moraitis from the Spiritual Arts Institute, Encinitas, CA. The meditations are on 2nd Tuesday of each month.

These meditations will focus on: Deepening the love in your relationships; Improving your career; Transforming destructive thoughts and emotions; and Increasing prosperity while teaching you how to become closer to God.

The cost is $5.00, and the money raised goes to the Center of Enlightenment.

Third Friday Fundraiser
All-Message Night

On the third Friday of each month, we host a fundraiser for the church. We offer lectures with guest speakers, All Message Night, Healing Night, Game Night, and other activities. This enables all to learn more about our church. There are a variety of love offerings, so please check the website and our page. These community events begin at 7:00 p.m.

Rev. Carol Willis will be hosting an All-Message Night on Friday, May 15 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Our ministers and mediumship graduates are guided by angels, spirit guides, and higher masters to share messages. Join us for love, family, and wonder.

We will be meeting in the Sanctuary, so only water and cough drops are permitted. The cost is $20.

Third Sunday Fellowship Potluck

Our monthly Fellowship Potluck follows services on Sunday, May 17. As always, the church is providing the entree. Please bring a side dish or dessert to pass that serves 8-10 people. If you have special dietary needs, please bring a dish that meets them and a sign saying what is special about the dish for the benefit of others.

Board of Directors and Members Meeting

The Board of Directors, ministers, and members usually meet each month on the fourth Sunday after services to conduct the business of the church which will be Sunday, May 24 immediately after services.

These meetings are open to all. Non-members are welcome and will have the floor for the first 10 minutes. Members are encouraged to come and have input into the decisions of the Board.
