Temperatures are dropping - our community is expecting another wave of cold weather.

The Cold Night Shelter is opening: Monday 1/6 - Saturday 1/11 (6pm - 9am)
MLK REC
1200 Elm St. Fernandina Beach, Fl.

Cold Night Shelter is opening - Westside(Mon -Thurs 7pm - 8am)
Callahan Methodist Church

They have a need for warm wear and blankets- can drop off at the church.

Please spread the word to all who need shelter -

If you would like to volunteer at MLK - many shifts available, use sign up link below. When they sleep better, we all sleep better - but it is up to our volunteers to keep the shelter open. Please sign up if able:

We also have a need for hand warmers, thermal underwear, hats, gloves, scarves. Of course we always need cotton boxers and long sleeve t-shirts.

Today was the culmination of our Second Annual Creating a Christmas Campaign! Our Evangelism Ministry( Heart For The Harvest Evangelistic Ministries ) dispersed gifts to 6 Families across our beautiful city. We delivered Clothing, Shoes, Toys, Decorations, and an entire Christmas Dinner to every family! We had Prayer with each person, and was able to show them the love of Christ this Christmas! Special Thanks to our Amazing Leaders: Bishop Dwayne Campbell & Lady Nicole Adderley Campbell , our Evangelism Team, Minister Theadessa Williams , Joshua Williams , and everyone who supported this effort! Great Things are continuing to take place at Elm Street Church of God, and it's only UP from here!

The Creating a Christmas Campaign is a totally immersive initiative that seeks to gift five (5) families with everything that they may need to celebrate a traditional Christmas. From Toys, Food, Clothing, and decorations, we will do our very best to show the love of Christ to deserving families this Christmas season!
